State Representative David Nathan is serving his first term in the Michigan House of Representatives. He represents a portion of the city of Detroit.
Nathan serves as the Vice Chair of the House Urban Policy Committee. He also serves on the Banking and Financial Services, Commerce and Education committees.
Nathan has been active in his community for years, participating in the Metropolitan Youth Foundation, serving as a Police Cadet and achieving one of the highest levels of honor in the Boy Scouts of America by becoming an Eagle Scout.
Nathan served as vice-president of his community association, a DPS parent volunteer and a Precinct Delegate. He also has volunteered his time coaching Little League sports.
Nathan has worked as a manager and in a customer service capacity for much of his work life.
