LANSING – State Representative David E. Nathan (D-Detroit) will hold a town hall meeting on Monday, April 13, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at High Praise Cathedral-Faith, 8809 Schoolcraft St. in Detroit as part of a series of informational community meetings he has held throughout the 11th District.
"My job is to represent the people of the Dearborn and Detroit in our State Capitol, and the best way for me to do that is by sitting down with our residents and listening to their questions and concerns," Nathan said. "These forums have given me the opportunity to speak with many people of the 11th District about issues affecting our community. I encourage residents to join me once more to let me know what issues are important to them and their families."
Invited guests include Carmine Palombo, director of Transportation Planning for Southeastern Michigan Council of Governments (SEMCOG), and a special guest to talk about the economic stimulus package as it relates to Detroit.
For more information, please contact Sarah Mercury in Nathan's office toll-free at (888) MY-REP-11 or send e-mail to Dist011@house.mi.gov.
